Refund & Return Policy

Overview

Our refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.

 

 

Book Conditions

All of our books are in readable condition. If you would like to know more about a particular book’s condition, please get in touch and we can provide more detail. We work with the following condition guide:

  • AN: The book is As New. It’s in the same condition as when it was published.
  • VG: The book is Very Good. It may show some small signs of wear on either the binding or paper.
  • G: The book is Good. This describes the average used worn book that has all pages present.
  • F: The book is Fair: This is a worn book that has complete text pages but may lack endpapers, etc. The binding and/or jacket (if any), may also be worn.
  • P: The book is Poor: This is a book that is sufficiently worn. This copy may be scuffed, stained or spotted and may have loose hinges, pages, etc.

 

Refunds

  • We do not have to give a refund if you change your mind about a purchase — so please choose carefully. If the product you have bought is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

    1. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
    2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
    3. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
    4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@brightink.co.nz.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
